Learning to blog

So after following a gazillion different blogs out there, I have finally decided to start a blog of my own.  I'm not the most creative person out there, so we shall see how this goes.  :)  So first things first, a little about me:

I was raised in Macon, GA and loved where I grew up.  It was a neighborhood full of dirt roads to ride bikes, walk and just hang out with all the neighborhood kids.  Although, you couldn't get away with much because everyone knew you and knew your parents, so before you got home, your parents already knew what you had done.  I lived there until I was 15.

We moved about a year after my father was killed to Warner Robins.  We stayed there about 2 years, then moved to Gray, where I graduated from.   High school was tough from moving around, but I got through it and started my new life.

I got married the summer I graduated and had my first daughter about a year later.  By that time, my husband and I had moved to Arkansas for work.  After about a year, we moved to Tennessee, and about a year later back to Georgia.  We divorced after 6 1/2 years of marriage.  Just couldn't get past that 7 year itch I guess.

After that, I decided to travel...Texas, Florida, Colorado, Kansas, South Carolina...  I didn't stay in each place long, 6 months tops, but I enjoyed the adventure.  I moved back to GA for good in 2002 after my second divorce.  That's a long story and not for this post.  :)

In 2007 I married my best friend.  We have known each other for 20 years, and have only gotten closer.  I say, in the end, you need to marry someone you can talk to about anything, and for me that is him!  He is my world.  In 2010 we were blessed with a second daughter.  She was his first, but he has always thought of my first daughter as his own and treated her as such.  So here I am today with a wonderful husband who is a teacher and coach (football, wrestling and whatever other sport he desires), an 18 year old daughter who will graduate this spring, and a 18 month old daughter who is definitely getting into her terrible twos!  We also have two Schoodles, and they are the most adorable, most aggravating things ever!  LOL

So how did I come up with the name for my blog?  My husbands players never know what to call me, so I just say, "That's Mrs. Coach to you!"  :)  Works out great!
